No Indycar app for the Iphone
There isn't an Indycar app for the iPhone. This is a big deal. (or on Android or Blackberry or Palm, either, as far as I know.)
Millions of people follow Baseball on the MLB app. 40 million people own an iphone/ipad/ipod touch... there isn't any Indycar app in the app store. How many fans have ever wanted to track a race in progress while they were away from their TV? Maybe follow along with full timing & scoring WHILE the watch TV? How about check on qualifying & practice times?

I had problems with their web page during both qualifications and the race on my Verizon Blackberry Storm phone. I would receive error messages that indicated the site had issues converting selected statistics to blackberry format.

I assume you're writing this in reaction to the F1 app?
I used that during the Turkish grand prix (On my Nokia N97, it's not just for iPhone) and it worked exceptionally well! Please 'like' our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/motorsportforums

I saw the WRC iPhone app and it rocks. Been told that they will release one for Blackberry in a few weeks.

I'm with the IRL on this one. This smartphone craze is just a passing fad. Give it another 12-18 months and I bet nobody will be buying these things. Best just to wait it out. pinhead:

Unusual for F1 / FIA to be ahead of the game on this one. They are usually last to implement technological developments. e.g. Still no HD coverage of F1!
