I find it difficult to call this deal anything but good news for the series. Is Sunoco working with other racing series? Sure. But if they even do a quarter of the advertising for the IRL that they do for NASCAR, it will be a significant free- marketing gain for the series.

I just wish the trend with Sunoco was to open more stores around here, not close them. They took over a lot of Mobil Locations but they all seem to have closed down, not changed brands when sunoco took over.
I miss those old Dial a Grade pumps with the 96 and 102 Octane. My Chevelle LOVED the 96.HINCHTOWN!!

Sunoco here in Canada is selling off their operation to Petro Canada....so alas, no more Sunoco, which I don't like.

It was on qualifying stage, he rolled the car and it was said that he won't be able to start the rally. But team managed to repair the car and he did start and dominated drivers like Rossel, Gryazin...
