I didnt realise that RBR is a descendant to the Rally Championship series of games. Before it was licensed as "Richard Burns", the internal development name for this game was simply Rally7, as in Rally Championship 7.

Curious to know if anyone else here has ever seen their car actually catch fire when crashing in RBR?

It rarely happens, but yes I've seen fire, when I sometimes damage front suspension...
Unfortunately, you can see the fire only In real time, as In replays nothing happens!!!

Had fires lots of times, pretty random really. Similar to the bonnet coming loose, very cool but very annoying
Just installed the 09 mod thing, came up as having a virus
but seems to have been sorted out ok 
If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off!

Yeah i had that issue when i installed it. Had to get windows live ione care to put it on the safe list.
