It's hard to imagine that RBR is almost 7 year old if you look how good it looks with HDR filter. If someone could code in tyre deformation, slightly up the poly count of the stages and scenery, gravel particle simulation (small bits flying from tires) one might believe that it is real.
Edit: Though the particle simulation would be very very CPU and GPU intensive.<Stultum est timere quod vitare non potes>

My user used to be 'dtaker' on BHMS until they got closed.. I was chiefly making and contributing setups. I stopped RBR since over a year ago.
But when I came to NZ, I suddenly found myself in a vast gravel expanse! I fired my RBR again but this time to practice rallying for real. I got my rally beater (practice car) setup in the Abarth Punto for gravel and tarmac. Looks the same, same color and best of all, drives like the real thing quite a handful really as my practice car, a lot worse than the WRC cars in the sim.
Not surprisingly, I am doing exactly the same mistakes I'm doing in the sim in the real life. But I had to complain to Warthog, because when I hit a gravel bank in real life when I lost control of the drift, the bumper of my car didn't come off, only got a tiny scratch!

Seeing as the RBR community seems to be dwindling a bit I thought I'd post some screenshots of my first ever attempt at a skin! It's the Ford 2012 livery and for a first go I'm pretty pleased.

Think I need to get my wheel and pedals out over Christmas and get into RBR again. Haven't even driven the Fiesta yet!

The Fiesta is a great car on RBR - set many PBs in it. Much easier to control even if its worse on the slow corners.
Meeke had a big gap to Rossel after stage 3 (20 sec) at stage 4 had a puncture and now the gap to Rossel is just 2 sec Gryazin strangely slow, anybody now why?...
