I'm wondering : there's plenty of events in Germany outside national championship. Are they part of a global cup ? Or are they part of "Länder" championship, or something else ?

This weekend is almost historical-Ruben Zeltner became a German rally champion! Porsche 911 took a crown again after year 1977!!!
I hope that factory Porsche AG will recognize the meaning of this victory-it can be a good marketing tool.

Unfortunately I doubt there is a big interest in DRM in Germany. We have a factory close to a Thüringen rally area and I don't know a single person who would at least once spectated. All local colleagues I spoke with don't even know that some rally is held there (even one who follows motorsport and regularly attends for example DTM)...

I belive you Mirek, I also know some guys from Germany, working for Porsche AG and they do not have any clue over many 911 racing in their national championship (good forbid to ask them who is Vallejo, Tuthill, Nantes....). On the other hand they know everything over German football legauge......shame and patetic...
Anyway Mirek, you must admit that Zeltner is one hell of a driver.....

I don't want to judge. German championship isn't really strong in terms of competition. Also I have never seen him on stages live. Once I could if he didn't crash on SS1 in our Rally Lužické Hory

Mirek, I think he never contented in Rally Lužické Hory Next year there will be a chance for going some international RGT events for his team. And I'm sure he is able to match other GT topdrivers in all new rallys.
