49.183-48.729=.354......or just over a third of a second off the pace. Being that she probably never really realy pushed anyine, I would call that a pretty good day.
Good to see Lagassi, Bliss, and Wallace running so well.,"He had the talent to be a champion, if only he weren't so stubborn." Harry Hyde

Looks like rain for qualifying tomorrow
and the fastest car, the 4 is a go or go homer (51st in owners points). Wouldn't it be a travesty if Danica races and Tony Stewart doesn't? IF the 7 car has 5 cars owners points from last year she's locked in in a rain scenario (the 5 was 31st in owners points).

The more I think about it, the more stunned I am that Harvick didn't take the 4 and let Stewart have the 33. 33's locked in at p4, and Harvick would be the first driver eligable for the past champion's provisional (2006) in that scenario (18-busch, 60-edwards are locked in, and BoyYAY is not running).

Looking for any rules I can find on the "rain scenario" I came across the Cup rules, anyway, on Jayski, and i guess substituting top 30 for top 35 would make itfit for the Nationwide series, so if the rues were the same Tony's guaranteed in under a rain scenario because he won a nationwide race last year (this race as a matter of fact).
If they hold qualifying then he must qualify on time or go home#4 2014 Sprint Cup Champion, 2007 Daytona 500,2003 Brickyard 400,2x Coke 600,2014 Southern 500 Champ: 962 starts,90 wins, 345 T5s, 544 T10s, 44 poles, 2x NNS champ

It would have been nice if BSPN had addressed the near 100% probability of qualifying being washed out tommorrow but I understand, that would have taken time away from Danica

Nothing but rain at Daytona. Not looking good for qualifications at the moment.
