    Pirelli control tyres beyond 2010...

Bad move in my opinion. The IRC Monte showed what tyre choice can bring - variety.
But it's telling that nobody else tendered for it.....

Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

Well, it is pros and cons on that one, but I thought that not only Pirelli, but Hankook and BFGoodridge also bid for that contract ?

I'm fine with a single supplier if they must but please bring back the skill/lottery of tyre choice.

I can understand single tyre suplier for manufacturer competition but I don't agree with direction of particular tyres to privateers. Many rallydrivers around the world are sponsored by tyre makers and existence of this rule makes their possible entry to WRC very difficult if even not just impossible.

No bid contracts always lead to trouble.
