Definitely it counts also for Turkish Rally Championship, infact it counts for the first three events of TRC. This year, a new regulation is to implemented saying that, each day of the Rally of Turkey will count for a seperate event in TRC; with different point systems.
There're lots of rumours about the prospective Turkish participants, yet not confirmed but here is the probable list:

    • Yağız Avcı (2009 TRC Champion) - Ford Fiesta S2000 - Ford Turkey
Burcu Çetinkaya - Peugeot 207 S2000 (She will also do IRC this season)
Serkan Yazıcı - S2000 ???? (Not confirmed, Just what Turkish rally fans hope... )
Fatih Kara - ???? (2006 JWRC contender, Just back from Military Service and is rumoured to drive)
Burak Çukurova - Peugeot S2000 (not confirmed, but most likely...)
Cem Acar - Fiat Punto S2000

Ünal Şenbahar - Mitsubishi Evo 9
Mustafa Söylemez - Mitsubishi Evo 9
Cem Özdemiroğlu - Mitsubishi Evo 9

      + Some Fiestas N3 / N2 / A7
+ Some other two-wheel drive cars...

Martin Kangur and Siim Plangi from Estonia are also planning to take part in Turkey with their Hodna Civic Type-R cars. Kangur led 2WD in Scotland last year until steering failed and he went off. Plangi is as fast as Kangur, sometimes even faster.

Parkur Racing, 2009 Teams Champion, have some historic cars in their portfolio. They may contest in Rally of Turkey.
