    I love my iPad.
I am currently watching the first season of "the West Wing" on Netfix. I can't stop.
    This pad technology is amazing.
Daniel was right. These iPads are magic.

Nah, not at Heathrow. I did a little Googling and they have Boingo, and what appears to be rather exorbitant fees for a few hours of surfing.

Paris CDG also doesn't have free wi-fi as I found out last year.

DO they up the allowance when the drivers/staff are on strike(i.e most of the time)?

Okay . . . . bare with me, but only in the last week have I been introduced the the tablet now that I finally ventured into one.
    The iPad retina display one.
Amazing technology and brilliant idea of mister Steve Jobs. (again Daniel was right) pin:

Pros: It rocks and I can now sit in the comfort of my own home and be able to get into the forum, Facebook, Netflix and other internet pages without having to strain my eyes reading from my cool yet too small lettered iPhone.

Cons: For someone that could not bare having smudges in his computer screen and would make sure that no one dared do so, I find myself looking at a screen that is so full of finger smudges that it has taken a while to realize that a good solution is to not eat pop corn as I scroll through my iPad and to always carry one of those nifty eye glass cleaner rags to constantly clean the surface. so I guess this 'con" has been solved.

My other con is that I agree with Mark, that thing is too heavy. It's got it's practical contraption that will make it stand up on a desk or coffee table but when you actually carry it as you try to sit comfortably in your sofa the dam thing is heavy. I wonder if the Windows Surface and other tabs the same size have the same weight issue.

My son got himself an iPad mini and yes, it is a superb piece of not heavy technology.

But my bottom line is, those pads are a great addition to our toy/tech contraption filled life. I love it.(even with the weight and all)

Told you that you should have got the mini!

Used facetime for the first time this morning, me on my iPhone in the office and Karen on her iPad at home, works well! . Freya kept going around the back to see if Daddy was there
