Delecour had some excellent drives on gravel, he may have been better overall on tar but he was definitely a good all round driver, better than some champions eg Biasion
Deep down I'm a sound bloke!

It is a little more complicated than you think

Guys, remember that the 2 Ford Finns are driving top notch WRC cars since 2003.... that means this is their 8th season !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Their experience at top level is HUGE. Their knowledge on driving, set ups, etc. is enormous.

Hirvonen is a good driver, yes, after years and years he has good speed but especially he is RELIABLE. That is his main quality.

Latvala on the other hand is not very reliable, even after sooooo much time and experience. Sometimes he is superfast, but a bit of a kamikaze.

Image wise and marketting wise they are both pretty dull and without charisma, although I would say Latvala is a bit more interesting than Hirvonen.

According to Finnish MTV3 Timo Jouhki was rather angry to Mikko and JM for taking hard tyres in the morning. I guess few "perkele"'s were heard.
