Cool Combined National Touring Series win totals

Here's the list of the top 25 active Sprint Cup Series Drivers win totals in all three series after the completion of the 2009 season. Jermey Methfield has fallen off the list entirely due to his suspension, and I made the executive descison to remove T-Lab and Sterling Marlin from the list because they didn't attempt very many races. The only "rule" for my list is that the driver must have at least 1 cup series win to make the list. And, please, take it for what its worth...its for FUN and not meant to start a pi$$ing contest over cup drivers in lesser series.

List is simple...Name, total wins, Cup, Nationwide, Trucks

    So with out further adieu:

    1) Mark Martin, 95,40,48,7
    2) Jeff Gordon, 87,82,5,0
    3) Kyle Busch, 62,16,30,16
    4) Kevin Harvick, 51,11,34,6
    5) Greg Biffle, 50,14,20,16
    t6) Jimmie Johnson, 48,47,1,0
    t6) Jeff Burton, 48,21,27,0
    8) Tony Stewart, 47,37,8,2
    9) Carl Edwards, 46,16,24,6
    10) Bill Elliot, 45,44,1,0
    11) Matt Kenseth, 43,18,25,0
    12) Dale Earnhardt Jr, 40,18,22,0

Kyle has done a lot in a short time...but he is the first one I have seen that has put that much effort into running all 3 series as much as he has too....

Your probably right, someone will, but not me. This isn't a G.O.A.T. list. It is only the top 25 Cup drivers currently competing in the Sprint Cup Series on a regular, if not full time, basis.

In other words, there is only 1 King, and I don't care if were to add these guys lower regional NASCAR wins, and ARCA wins, as well as ASA for the drivers old enuff to have competed there, in to these totals, there a'int NO one gonna touch Richard Petty's 200 wins.......

Well, I ain't no doofis and I think Kyle is easily the best driver in NASCAR hands down. Might be the best ever.

Oh yea, and be sure to call yourself something derogatory on my behalf :-)

Given Mark Martin's age, I suspect he may have entered a few NASCAR Speedway Division races.

I am laughing at that one ( me calling myself a name on your behalf, not your point)....Kyle isn't the best driver in NASCAR. He might be in the top 3, and I would say THAT only if he picks up the pace this year. No...the best driver in the modern post 1980 NASCAR was Earnhardt, Petty and Pearson in the 20 years before 80, and now in the 00's.....I am thinking it isn't even close. Jimmie....and he is on track to maybe be the G.O.A.T. before he is done. Shrubbie has never been able to beat Jimmie consisitently.

Furthermore, as impressive as some may think, No one wins the World Series by having the best AAA record, or no one wins the Stanley Cup by having the best AHL team either. Shrub's victories in Truck and Nationwide are fun, and show a lot of skill, but he is not playing the varsity, not even close. Look at his Cup record. Same number of wins as Jr, and not one of them a Daytona 500, Brickyard 500 or Coca-Cola 600 win. He did win at Darlington and Bristol, and I give him kudo's for conquering those two tough tracks; I know the kid can drive, but he isn't on that best driver in NASCAR list yet. If Jimmie decided he wanted to spend all weekend racing in the minor series, I am sure he would have some more wins to show for it, but by concentrating on what we all know really matters, he is writing pages in the history book.

I am not a Jimmie fan, but I admire the way he has stuck to being fresh on Sunday and mopping the floor with the rest of the field. He races smarter AND faster...and that is why he has 5 championships. Shrubbie has a Nationwide crown....last I looked Jr. had one of those too and no one in their right mind would put Jr. in the top 5 drivers in NASCAR.
