As I said before people need to invest time in getting to know people and spending time on Chit Chat and it will bring a whole lot more enjoyment to the forum.
The incident on the F1 appears bigger than it was. I like you agree that lots of good threads get ruined in F1 and to be fair I'm not always innocent but what Pino did was right, this sort of stuff has gone on for too long so the offenders were banned which should hopefully serve as a warning. There are a lot of people in the F1 forum who think that Ioan is the root of all their problems but if they saw how that thread went down they'd see the blatant trolling and personal attacks that went on and see that Pino's actions were justified.
OT I know but what are ViperMan and Tony Yeboah up to these days Bezza? Although it was rare that I ever agreed with them they were certainly colourful and definitely added to the forumRule 1 of the forum, always accuse anyone who disagrees with you of bias.I would say that though.

Last post from him was actually more recent than I thought, I think he came alive briefly at the start of 09 and then disappeared again.

I think that part of the reason why people don't post here is because this place can become too much like a community. I've just been reading Daniel and Bezza talking to each other and no offence intended, but people don't really want to interrupt it. we need to make new members feel more welcome....maybe its a british thing about politeness or maybe its just me.....
Please ignore ALL of the above....

Just a blind guess but have they jumped on the BTCC forum and we're just plebs keeping the old forum going?

Personally I would like to see Option 2, it would be good to have a second coming.Niente è vero, tutto è permesso

I have to say i've had a glance at this place about 3 times this year and seen nothing really worthwhile posting on. Even Chit Chat has been dead. Crazy to think i was 10 when i joined here and now i'm 20 But there dosent seem to be an atmosphere here anymore....Plus i got fed up with the "Shoot 'em down in flames' approach of too many members, it felt less of a community and more of a bitch fest.
I quite understand the need for safety briefings but the threats and it's how it's being communicated that seems to me extremely heavy-handed. And the similar NW Stages closed-road rally didnt...
