Remembering Michael "Beef" Park
Video tributes to the memory of Michael Park (June 22, 1966 - September 18, 2005)
"We won the rallies we wanted to win. The only one he really wanted was the one I wasn't able to deliver - Great Britain.
"Then he went out with such a big bang. When that happened, I lost the world's best co-driver, a very good friend and brother."

"You've got to enjoy life, you've gotta have fun while you're doing it, I mean, live life on the edge, that's why we do jobs like this, and you've got to live life to the full. It's just a shame that time runs out so quickly."
RIPIf the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off!

A dark day for the rallying world. One of our most colourful competitors lost.
'Gone but never forgotten'.
A nice little tribute to beef by Shakedown and Neil Cole:

It was a sad day when Beef died, rallying lost one of the nicest guys in motorsport. A proper legend and I'll always remember when he asked Markko if he'd seen the football, the look on Markko's face said it all. RIP.
You're so beige, you probably think this signature is about someone else.

I will never forget that dark and rainy Sunday. Just the previous day we had gotten the news that a Finnish co-driver had passed away in an accident.
All that silence everywhere; rally radio, no results coming up. Then finally an official bulletin from the organizers which told that the worst had happened. Even still to this day, Risto Pietiläinen's words sometimes echo in my head.
I will never forget Beef and definately not his character and commentary. Rest in peace.Satakymppi, oikee yks

This has been on my mind all day at work.
Still such a big loss to the world of rallying. I remember where I was when I heard the news, it seems like yesterday. The impressions were priceless, thank goodness for You Tube.
It makes you realise how fragile life is and to make the most of everyday.
My thoughts are with Beef's family and of course Markko.
RIPNothing lasts forever but some things end too soon
