Bit of History
Was at one of my customers workshops yesterday and in the back of his shed had a Chevy Monte Carlo NASCAR from the mid Nineties. In race ready trim, used here in Australia by Bob Middleton a few years back.
Would be great it if we could revive the glory days of the Thunderdome. There has to be at least 60 NASCARS in Australia.
Only hoping

Yeah they had a series called AUSCAR for Ford Falcons and Holden Commodores. They used to turn right The NASCARS would run the opposite direction. Good crowds, I remember the traffic hassles, stuck for 4km out from the Thunderdome. The Thunderdome is still there, just a bit bumpier than in it's heyday. Had a drive around it last year and it was still an awesome bit of track.
