That's the best french championship since sooo long. Good to see so many young - or not so young now - talented drivers having R5. Now we have :
- Yoann Bonato (34 y/o) : former Citroën & Opel official drivers, winner of Swift Cup & Adam Cup
- Vincent Dubert (24 y/o) : winner of Citroën Trophy 2015
- Fabiano Lo Fiego (37 y/o) : two times third of Citroën Challenge (2005 & 2006)
- Quentin Giordano (30 y/o) : top contender of various french trophies, podiums in JWRC, one podium in WRC2
- Charles Martin (28 y/o) : winner of Twingo Trophy 2012, winner of 208 Racing Cup 2014, official Peugeot driver in ERC 2015, winner of Clio Trophy 2016
- Yohan Rossel (22 y/o) : winner of french junior champ in 2014, winner of CRT 2016
- Jérémi Ancian (33 y/o) : winner of Suzuki Cup 2009, winner of Peugeot cup 2012, official Peugeot driver in ERC 2013, then Nothing
- Bruno Riberi (25 y/o) : some good results in Peugeot Cup (5th in 2015)
+ some good gentlemen (Roché, Mauffrey, Gal, ...)
The 30+ drivers never had the opportunity to drive good 4WD cars, even when it was S2000 time. Now they are here. That's great.

Entry List for Lyon-Charbonnières:http://www.asarhone.com/site/pdf.php...s_modernes.pdf
Friday there are 5 stages (2x2 stages + SSS) and on saturday another 8 (2x4 stages).
Stages are fast and mostly wide, although some parts are a bit Barum (bumpy broken tarmac with gravel, fast and in a forest). When wet, there are some very slippery black patches on the tarmac. Stages for the brave drivers, I think the leading 208s will be high up in the general classification again!.

Sad news from Italy and France. RIP.
Rally addict since 1982
It's OK, it's a short stage! Remember the FIA and promoter reserve the right to completely fuck over everything we all know, enjoy and understand about this series and sport. Or, maybe they might...
