    Re: News from France

Ingram's deal was not secured yet this weekend, so not sure if he will start of not. He will continue with Twingo in JERC and hopes the upgrades help him to gain some speed.

Sorry for Ingram to roll the car. He was showing good speed until he rolled. I'm very impressed with Jaro Kinnunen's pace in his first tarmac rally. On the last stages of the day his sec per kilometre difference to the fastest guys in the 208 cup has been very good. Hopefully the pace increasing trend continues today.

    Re: News from France

After day 1, Maurin has a clear lead. Cuoq had to retire during the last stage of the day. But he has to make caution to Gilbert, who is learning the C4. Brunson had a difficult beginning of rally but now he can hope a podium, reducing the gap on Roche.
Amourette is leading the Michelin Trophy with the DS3 R3. The best northern is Pruvot with Impreza. it's the first time this car is going well. For national events, it can be interesting, as Bayard won too easily the last years ...

    1 Maurin (Fiesta WRC)
    2 Gilbert (C4 WRC) 31"7
    3 Roche (Mini WRC) 1'00"0
    4 Brunson (Fiesta WRC) 1'12"6
    5 Baud (Fiesta WRC) 2'03"9
    6 Pruvot (Impreza WRC) 3'16"5
    7 Amourette (DS3 R3) 3'42"9
    8 Bayard (Corolla WRC) 3'47"9
    9 Nantet (997 GT2) 3'48"2
    10 Beaubelique (Fiesta TR5) 3'49"9
    11 Martel (207 S2000) 4'10"7
    12 Lefebvre (208 R2) 4'10"8
    13 Rouillard (997 Cup) 4'15"6
    14 Martin (208 R2) 4'20"4
    15 Simpson (Fabia S2000) 4'43"0
    ...

In 208 Lefebvre is leading at home. But Martin is well. Most impressive is maybe Camilli, 4th for his first event with 208, after only one year with DS3 R1 between Cherain and Dubert.
In Opel Cup, Romain Fostier is leading, but Pierre Marché who made is comeback is there. Young Florian Bernardi is fighting with Antoine Masse and Jean Jouines for third place. Bonato had trouble but is still there.
