Best time overall in the short SS12, 2nd best time in the longest stage(SS13 19km)

After a Mont-Blanc praparation like this he can only WIN in Asturias and Sanremo :
Very good times indeed, but we must say that the drivers in a WRC car here are 'only' gentlemen-drivers.

Don't forget that in Sanremo the Italian drivers are always very strong. Andreucci, Rossetti and Basso will be faster than Meeke there and maybe Travaglia too.

And for Meeke a 2nd best time in last stage of rally(the 19km long repeated one)...only +2.2s from Mercier and about 20s faster than any other S2000s

Patrick Henry won ahead of Pierre Barbé and Eddie Mercier...

During the second leg Meeke lost only 23 seconds to Mercier and was faster than Henry by 15 seconds.

Pierre Roché was second. There were a lot of accidents when you see the list of retirements.

I absolutely agree with Wim,it's almost impossible to beat Ucci,Rox or Basso in their country.
    Don't forget about Scandola also

Basso maybe, I agree but Ucci and Rox? My point was Wim just about put Meeke in 5th (without retirements/accidents) before he even starts. P3 is more likely, but hey, we will see. Going to be a good (if short) rally.

Hmm,in my opinion Ucci is a little better than both Rox and Basso but that isn't very important in French rally news,is it?

I personally think Kopecky has better chances in San Remo but as you said we will see
