i thought they started off slowly but got better and better, the camso cars looked a lot quicker but hats off to Shane Bereton he was really trying,i really enjoyed it, putting them on with nat. hot rods and 1300 stock cars was a good idea as it was a really good meeting.
Where was Colin White i thought he'd have been there.

The 99 would of started off quick if it hadn't of had electric problems, fuse problems and fuel pressure problems. Never mind thats racing i guess. Good note, Paul done well and held his own out there, Miguel done ok too. Shane has all the experience and short oval knowledge to challenge the front he done well.
A nice big middle finger for you sonny!

I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it despite not really having the right camera gear for a short oval (a 300 2.8 is just that bit too long) or being quite tall enough to see over the armco wall...
On initial looks I've got some ok-ish photos and a reasonable draft for the race report.
I think Paul and Lee did really well, Shane was astonishingly quick and once again, the racing was a good advert for the series. From where I was standing, I'd say Ipswich was a little bit too short and too tight, but a good night's racing is a good night's racing.
And the journey home was a *LOT* better than from Lydden...Scrumpy, scrumpy, scrumpy, SLEDGEHAMMER!!!

Hednesford
Just a thought Duane,is it worth asking a certain John Mickel to mention the up and coming Hednesford meeting,no NASCAR that weekend so he won`t lose any viewers.

John is a mate, the Sky coverage is good for NASCAR but im pretty sure they are both under oath not to speak of any oval series over here, nice thought though.........

WRX is not a manufacturer series, WRC is not a privateer/teams series, they shouldn't be compared. Privateers and teams aren't travelling the globe as WRX shows, so why suggest privateers are the...
