CMR2 car setup methods.
Just to throw my halfpence worth in.......
For Finland, I use medium-long gearing (+1)
-3 or -4 increments of 'soft' suspension,
1 increment Rear power ratio (tourque split),
2 increments to rear of brake bias (helps considerably on loose surfaces. For tarmac you treat the car as if its a racing car, and keep it straight under braking, with the brake bias in the middle),
and the steering is +2 of 'Fast' (on my Logic3 Star Fighter stick).
This setup is for the WRC's.
For the Sierra Cosworth and Escort Mk1 RWD cars I use fully long gearing.
Brake bias remains at 2" to the rear, but these cars are mainly driven (and steered) with the throttle controlling the rear end of the car."I rolled......................I retired"
