Question Race of Champions, Wembley 16th Dec

Couldn't see this referred to anywere on the forums, but I wondered whether anyone was considering going to this, or had been to last years? Looking at the video on http://www.raceofchampions.com it had a phenominal crowd and could well be awesome!

Hopefully I'll have something else on.

If you like superspecials, then it'll be fun. But I don't and wouldn't sit through hours and hours of them. Someone would have to keep me awake.

I went to the first one at Stade De France so I will be at Wembley as well. After all it is only a few miles from my house

It should move back to Gran Canaria where the drivers have to do some real driving, there's no room for drivers to throw the cars about in a stadium when there is 2 tracks,i think i watched 5mins of last year coverage and it bored me to tears

Interesting and a good point about the tracks not leaving much room to move. I suppose it's like most things, if there's a full stadium anything can be enjoyable (I even almost enjoyed a Big Country concert in my youth because it was packed!), but do you think they will get a crowd of 70,000+ to it? There'd be nothing worse than a half filled stadium.

What a stupid argument. It's not about rallying so to speak. It's drivers from different sports getting together and competing in an event that gives them all a good chance of being competitive. F1 fans probably argue it's too much like rallying and rally fans argue it's too much like racing. It's just a fun event and it's not forcing you to kill your young children or go out and commit mass murder so what's the deal????
Rule 1 of the forum, always accuse anyone who disagrees with you of bias.I would say that though.
