Absolutely. We've been discussing the issue in our national forum but, okey that's it, the big crisis, nothing to be done. Even the best Turkish drivers, who formed the top-spot places in last year's national competition, do not enter the first round of the national championship. We have some very competetive N4 drivers on Evo 9s, but it presumably won't bring much entertainment as it did last year! It would have been a great rally just like last year, if it were also a part of IRC this year. As local fans, we were also looking for our national hero, Serkan Yazıcı who is competing in Italy with a Fiat Grande Punto S2000, to enter the Istanbul Rally as a practice event for him to get used to his new car. But, ok that's the case, whatever the conditions are, we are looking for our guests and foreign friends for a nice, enjoyable and comptetive Istanbul Rally 2009

I'm quite disappointed that there is no Isik and Yazici. Does Fiat Motorsport Turkey team still exist?

    Is not true...
Travaglia will drive Skoda, for now, just for Targa Florio....

Corrado will drive Mitsubishi Grifone only for this race... from Croatia have a new 207...

Unfortunately no. One of the two drivers racing in Turkish Rally Championship,, Fatih Kara, joined the military forces for the required military service. The other driver, Yağız Avcı, will drive a Evo IX this year. There is no way for Volkan Işık to race for a full championship this year as far as I'm concerned. But, Serkan Yazıcı should have been in the entry list of Istanbul Rally
