What is the mean reason for not sponsoring any more? Did the rally made to much losses in the past?

Maybe it it because it's not worth sponsoring a minority sport. Who watches it? Who really wants to watch it - it's hardly a 'must-see' sport is it? If people aren't watching it, then sponsors don't get value for money.

Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

To answer your question, the Tour de Corse rally has seen a multitude of difficulties since a while and each edition could have been the last one. It was always rescued generally just before the start.

Money is key but main reason is the internal political climax related to the status of the island, something i won't address here, eventually lead to a lack of sponsors, or if you prefer it a little less politically correct : sponsors to run and stay away from Corsica.

Mix it with last Andy's post + GB Rally current situation and you will get the picture.
