Montoya and the Daytona 500

He ran well, leading 18 laps in his qualifier before having hub failure, a flat tire, and hitting the wall. The damage was light and he will not need his backup car.

Does it even matter where anyone starts in the 500? The good and the lucky will be at the front of the pack at race end anyways. Thats how I feel about Daytona qualis, if it wern't for send some people home they might as well draw numbers out of a hat.

He was impressive in this is 4th Stockcar start(including the ARCA race.)
