Total rollercoster in Czech rally rules for 2015

Only one champion title from two-day events. International championship becomes national only (foreign drivers can start but don't take points). All events held only in CZ. Technical rules according to this year's sprints which means WRC cars are allowed with a restriction to a homologation from 2006 or older. Crews can use any tyres acc. to FIA rules since 2012. They can heat them or hand-cut. National license is enough.

Rallysprints are downgraded to a "Series" without official championship title. Cars eligible are very free but only 2WD up to 2 litres. Together with rallysprints there will be a "Cup 2+" (WRC new and old, R4, R5, S2000, RGT or N4). Compared to this year N4 cars return to 33 mm restrictor in all events. International license is required for Cup 2+.

There is also a change in historic championship with a new class for cars from years 91-96.

If drivers like Kostka or even Odlozilik move to a Xsara WRC it could be very difficult for Pech to become champion again next year. Is there a reason why they changed the rules so drasticly?

Since 2004 our ASN went strictly FIA way but the result was less crews and more expensive championship. That was getting much worse in last couple of years. I think the change of the course is a result of this situation. Yes, it's quite drastic and I'm curious what it will bring...

But for Kahle there is no change. He was doing sprints where he was not allowed to points anyway.
