Emil Triner will start with Clio R3 instead of his usual Fabia Parts to repair broken engine will be delivered too late.

A lot of crashes today like usually in Český Krumlov. Some big ones but fortunately nothing serious with anybody. Pech on different league than anyone else. Odložilík long time second but crashed. Kresta and Tarabus both facing problems with faulty engine maps from Škoda Motorsport. Something is wrong with throttle reactions. But both also admit that they are driving bad. Last stage is strange. Myachin crashed into a chicane made of straw bales which were moved into the road. Later Búš crashed there too. It seems somebody was shown yellow flag and somebody not (it looks like Pech did it full speed but Kresta sure not). Now there is a mess in times and we have to wait for some decision from stewards.
First onboards including big (and somewhat stupid) crash of Adolf: http://www.mediasport.cz/rally/onboardy.htmlStupid is as stupid does. Forrest Gump

I wonder why no Austrians are driving there - it´s only some few km away from Jänner Rallye area and only about 30-40 km from Linz?

There were some in historics but sure it's good question. Maybe you can ask in Austria
Anyway rally is finished without major dramas which is good. Pity for Odložilík who was doing really really well before his crash.
1. Pech (Mini S2000) 1:41:22,1
2. Kresta (Fabia S2000) +1:14,1
3. Tarabus (Fabia S2000) +1:35,3
4. Jelínek (Fabia S2000) +4:17,4
5. Dohnal (207 S2000) +5:10,3
6. Štajf (Impreza N4) +6:38,6
7. Mifka (Evo IX N4) +6:46,1
8. Černý (207 R2) +9:11,3
9. Barvík (Evo IX N4) +10:07,9
10. Peták (Clio R3) +10:24,0
11. Smékal (DS3 R3) +11:11,3
12. Triner (Clio R3) +11:12,9
Top five of historics
1. Kalista (Legacy RS) 1:49:00,4 (one stage was canceled, so don't compare times of both championships)
2. Krejča (Škoda 130LR) +4:04,3
3. Káňa (Sierra Cosworth) +5:56,0
4. Petrášek (Ascona B) +7:29,7
5. Steiner (Swift GTi) +10:40,1
What is bad that people reported incredibly strict level of "spectator regulation" like no walking on stage already one hour before start etc. despite really low number of spectators compared to last years. So far it was the most extreme of all events and I hope the others will be better.Stupid is as stupid does. Forrest Gump

I'm visiting Rallye Krumlov since 2003 and the only Austrian I remembered who started in the modern field was Bernhard Jahn in 2005. i Wonder since many years why this fabolous rally isn't part of the Austrian championship.
The safety measures were quite strict. I had to stand 15 meters away from the place I stood the last years on Malonty, but it was no problem to cross the road after the 0 car.
By the way the first time I saw Kresta live was on Malonty 2003. Maybe it was also the last time I saw this great driver live.

M-Sport/ Ford have been testing using a 'simulator' in the USA. They say its helped improve the Puma Rally1 car, especially for tarmac. Does anyone know what this simulator could be like ? Story...
