Next round of Czech Rallysprint Championship and first round of Lausitz Cup - Rally Lužické Hory next weekend.
Entry list with 156 crews contains 5 WRC cars, 2 S2000, lots of Trabants etc. There are some interesting guests from Germany and Poland like especially Mathias Kahle with Octavia WRC.

It looks like the rallysprint championship is interester than the rally championship ( from the number of the crews - 156 ).
My english is not the best :\

Yes, there are many reasons for that - most of them in fact financial.
Rallysprints are much shorter (cca 70 km of stages)
Entry fee is lower
Event takes less days
HANS is mandatory for WRC, S2000, N4 and S1600 only while in "big" champ for all cars
Cars with experided homologation, national homologation or in same cases without homologation are allowed
