Thanks for putting us straight, I for one will pay closer attention * You should do , because any time i said (real) it was to do with (real road) races , over here we race on public roads with roundabouts bridges trees lamposts etc, a great lad from oz made his name over here CAMERON DONALD doing irish road racing (big hero over here) and as world champions go JOEY DUNLOP springs to mind.Up and comeing J REA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouNvQ8Ur8Ak

Ok Suzukimad07, I get your point. Yes, I am acquainted with the Dunlop name - anyone with even a slight interest in racing motorcycles would be - and Johnny Rea is one to look out for (I have a pic of him leaping a RedBull sponsored 'Blade on my screensaver slide-show - awesome stuff), but (and I am not trying to be provocative here) is he a world champ yet?

Anyway, as often is the case, my attempts at a little good natured ribbing over the interwebs goes awry, so I will stop. For now.

As stated by others from this far away land, we don't get racing like this here, the fun nazis would rather see us all euthanased Kervorkian style than enjoy the thrills of a real road race. But we do have Phillip Island

I'd imagine that we're going the same way, stuff like the TT is surely on borrowed time and I'm convinced that it wouldn't still be running if it wasn't such a well known event.
