Forum Fantasy Motorcycling League 2009 - final standings up
Well folks, here we are again. The championship organisers, teams and riders have been working hard and in just over six weeks the action gets going, so it's time for the Fantasy League Official Launch.
----
Format is the same as the previous years:
- MotoGP, 250cc, 125cc, World Superbikes, World Supersport[/*:m:1yqvuqjp]
- Budget of $10M, riders have fixed prices and scores points as in real life[/*:m:1yqvuqjp]
- Pick seven riders, with at least one from each of the five classes[/*:m:1yqvuqjp]
- Two transfer periods during the season to change your riders, but you can only make three changes at each transfer period.[/*:m:1yqvuqjp]
- Think up a suitably amusing team name[/*:m:1yqvuqjp]
----
The full spreadsheet with prices, rules and how the season looks (i.e where the transfer periods are) is up here:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...lb6_HGL1N6XAGQhttp://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...lb6wOJhKNkiNIg
I'll also post the prices below.

It was suggested last year that we have a thread for the results/standings, and then a separate 'banter board', both of which would be sticky at the top of the forum. Any thoughts on that?"Of course, what many people tend to forget is that Glen Richards was 2nd in the 1993 Australian 125cc championship" - Jack Burnicle on BSB at Snetterton, June 2008

Glad that the new competition will be commenced again, Thanks for managing the game. The rules seem to be fine.
Just my two cent, Unless riders' pricing were already finalized, it looks like Max Biaggi is priced slightly high? Perhaps he shouldn't have price at any higher place than Neukirchner and Corser, besides he will ride bike totally new in the series, we might need to refer to last year's result...

Is it just me or does this appear to be getting harder every year. So many 'value' bets in WSB and WSS as well as the perenially difficult 125's. I'm so looking forward to this season, for this competition as much as the racing. Well, must be off now. Time to negotiate some contracts!
