Reputable rally news sites?
Just wondering which sites people consider to be reputable as we've been shown over the last few weeks that a lot of sites and blogs are just rumours/opinion. Sadly it seems since the WRC experienced a downturn the standard of journalism/reporting has gone way down and any person can do an Auto Express and publish fantastic rumours and by the time they've been shown to be false they've published loads of other rumours which have people captivated.
For me the best (english language) sites for reputable news are
www.Autosport.com
www.crash.net
www.wrc.com
and my friends at www.rallye-info.com who seem to be more into S2000 than the WRC these days but at least when they post a story it's factual.
Used to love worldrallynews.com but sadly David Williams passed on
Where do you get your news? Personally all this tabloid style crap that passes itself off as news these days bores the crap out of meRule 1 of the forum, always accuse anyone who disagrees with you of bias.I would say that though.

I'd have to agree with you - We are not served particularly well, general media sites, i;e BBC, Newspapers don't cover it at all. Autosport is usually pretty good, however you normally have to be a subscriber to get more in depth stories.
I find rally-info good, yes they do more IRC/s2000 but I think that is reasonable - it seems to be a series trying to make progress.
I find Jerry Williams of Motorsport News entertaining with his weekly rant at the WRC. Pity it's not online.
Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

I find autosport.cz a pretty good site, with actual news, no gossip or rumours and only hard facts. It is unfortunally in Czech language, but nothing Google translation can't solve.

I tend to wait for the major news to pass the Autosport test before I believe it. There's just a lot of crap sites on the net.
