    prodrive Volkswagen

heard this one last year. Volkswagen will bring in the sirocco togheter with prodrive. Even FIA made a rulechange for the car. And with carlos sainz in the team things can turn just fine. Just a shame they didn't turn the S14 into a winner

When FIA made rulle change? Maximum WRC and S2000 width is still 1800 mm and even the stock Scirocco is 1810 mm.

Sainz? I don't think he wants to return...

I'm allready in 2010 ..;-)) In may there were contacts between prodrive and volkwagen. And if you look at the palmares of prodrive, they have the numbers down.If I were volkswagen, i would start to dance with them also..

The WRCC approved a change for 2010, in order to allow Scirocco and also the new Focus WRCar (they spoken about it about 2 months ago).

If Volkswagen will come into WRC, Sainz will be just a Team Manager, not a driver.

We'll see how this shapes up for VW. Their chances of winning Dakar are high and I hope that they are willing to run a WRC team in the future as well.

VW in WRC and Skoda in IRC? I wish it happened but I don't think it is very likely.
There WAS nothing like rallying, Superrally is a joke!
