Paddon is a world class driver.Even if he is not tarmac specialist i think his driving skills are better than ucci's,scandola's etc.Italians have just the advantage of the road knowledge .

It's a beautiful car indeed, but why does it appear on a wrong entry list?

You're not taking into account severl aspect:

    1) Ucci, Scandola etc drive Sanremo streets every year for decades. Even if you are a worse driver that is a huge advantage

    2) Ucci, Scandola etc showed top speed at WRC2 leading rally sardinia in 2015 and 2016 until technical problems, so they can count to a solid basis of speed that is not easy to find elsewhere.

    3) Ucci, Scandola etc never had occasion to prove themself with the best in an international level.

    4) Ucci was ahaed of Mikkelsen in Sanremo during IRC some years ago (correct me if I'm wrong, I didn't follow rallies back then, I'm relying on what I heard afterwards).

    5) Ucci, Scandola etc drives R5 everytime while for Paddon is the first time after many years (of course he's driving beasts now that are harder to drive but it's still a different car and I guess that will cost him somehow)

    6) Paddon wants mileage in tarmac with Seb at his side, he will not risk everything, Ucci, Scandola etc have a championship to win.

    7) Paddon is driving with a barely new codriver, it's not the same as having the usual one.

For these reason I don't think Paddon will win the event or be at TOP pace this weekend. Close to them yes, but not better.
    Let's see.

Real pleasure to test the Hyundai R5 today - very nice and easy to drive straight out of the box. Now some time to adjust and fine tune

Lukyanuk did a nice job on last Canarias but I was actually thinking on the twice ERC champ and all the top spanish drivers. Surprisingly, or not, Ostberg was leading the rally 6.9s ahead Katjo, before he went off in SS7. https://www.ewrc-results.com/results...te-Ingles-2016
