Amazing! Scandola took on the last stage by 1.1s. Great job from top 3 crews.

Does Basso drive a "normal" Fiesta R5 this year and only Campedelli a gas driven?

Yes, according to local rally sites GPL car for Campedelli and petrol car for Basso on this event (both runned by BRC team).

Grande Umberto Scandola! Won both events, he showed again his speed, I think he will be first favourite on gravel stages around San Marino. Also very good race for Denis Colombini and Simone Cempedelli. Both "veterans" Basso and Andreucci couldn't cope with their younger rivals.
By the way-no technical troubles for all five crews. That is good to hear.

Did Ucci have problems or have the other drivers/manufacturers caught up?
I'm used to him winning always and now he's down the order....

Somebody said he had to clean the road for both days due to the strange Italian rules.

He cleaned them just on the first run. That why it is strange that he did not try to push on the second run. Listening to Ucci's comments-he didn't have any particular problem...not his day. Shame....but it is not the end of the world.

He has a good margin on general ranking...he didn't want to throw it away.
It is still strange as you said, cause Andreucci likes gravel... Maybe Anna is pregnant? Who knows?

    Somebody...that's really polite.

    CIR standings after Adriatico: 1.Andreucci 53,50 pt; 2.Scandola 45; 3.Basso 39,75; 4.Perico 19; 5.Campedelli 18,50;...
