Indeed, I know more about Italian rally scene then 99,9% Italians....I follow the C.I.R very closely for more than 10 years (when Navarra, Longhi, Cantamesa, Travaglia and of course Andreucci, Rossetti and Basso were the main players). It is a hobby for me...relaxing time.

Seems it’s only the road car version. But they choose a top rally driver!

Besides the Rally, this 100th Targa Florio anniversary it’s an amazing celebration of the Italian (and European) motorsport heritage, with an exceptional concentration of fabulous road, race and rally historic machines. Huge congrats to the organizers!

    Btw, #38 911 is the ex-Tuthill car.

First day at Sicily is over-an important victory for Basso! Congratulations! He had a very tight fight all day long with Andreucci, who was beaten by 4 seconds. Third already young Andrea Nucita, fourth place went to Umby Scandola.
Some light showers during the day made already nice race even more interesting.
    Tomorrow another race!

Shame on the organization. I have never seen so many issues in a single rally.
It is not respectful for spectactors (not the stupid one who stays in stupid places and refuse to go elsewhere), crews, fans and even for the name of a legendary rally, the most ancient one.
