    Some updates:

According to the organizers the incident happened in a straight. The marshall was 2 metres from the road. There were sleet in the road...

When ambulance arrived there both the marshall and the driver were already dead, the codriver (the daughter of the driver) was consciouse although injured.

Doctors believes the codriver will survive.

Where could I find information about Rally Rome? can't seem to find any information about in which area the rally is actually driven, where the rally hq and service area will be etc.
We're trying to plan our trip to Rome but lack of information is making it pretty hard.
All the help is appreciated =)

Because Italy is stuck in the 00's for web technology... I just checked, entry list for Adriatico is not out yet. About Rally Roma Capitale, have you checked the "Audience" section on their website? I don't know how helpful it can be to you though.

Yeah I have, either they are not available or it opens last years stuff. Really makes it hard to book hotels etc. when you have no clue about where the event is actually happening

Ah, yes I can imagine. Hopefully they will update their website soonish, even because I doubt you can find much info elsewhere.

Entry list for Rally Adriatico (valid for CIR and CIRT/gravel championship)

    http://www.rallylink.it/pdf/2017/adriatico.pdf

Although Umberto Scandola hasn't showed anything special in this season, I count him as a favorit Nb.1 for the overall victory.
And special attention should be dedicated to Kalle Rovanpera, to whom gravel is a ''natural surface''.

And as have been discussed also Kalle says the Peugeot is different compared to the Skoda.

"After all, it is somewhat different. The engine is a bit like driving with a Super 2000. You have to drive with higher revs and the car have a little bit different suspension and power transmission, but pretty soon you get used to it."

Rally Adriatio-1.day: Umberto Scandola convincingly won today. He was fastest on all stages except last one.
Andreucci lost a lot in the first part (gravel sweeper due to starting position), but in the second part he slowly gained back the lost time. Due to Cempedelli's mistake on 7th stage he was at the end second. Very important second place in the fight for the championship!
Kalle Rovanpera showed his talent this time: he was almost all day on second position, at the end he lost fight with Ucci for a few seconds. Big respect to him!
All in all beautiful day, perfect conditions, not to hot....
