Why on earth would Skoda Italia go with DMacks for a largely asphalt championship?

Except money advantages(these tyres shouldn't be expensive at all compared to Michelin/Pirelli)I don't see the point

A perfect start for the old Italian rally star.....Andreucci's victory was never in danger, he just routinely retained the relatively small advantage, made today no mistake whatsoever.....victory for a textbook.
What about others: Crungola definetely a positive surprise, was all the time close to Ucci; sometimes even faster.
Cempedelli showed many times he can challenge Ucci, this time he had one flat tyre, so the dreams for the victory were immediately history.
    Pollara-slow....
Gryazin-I expected more from him, if we exclude lose of time due to flat tyre on 9th stage, he was loosing constantly around 1sec/km....sometimes even more.
Both Japan guests-very solide; most important: no mistakes.

Me too, although his main experience and best performances have been on gravel.

    Is he doing full CIR?
