Yeah, aside from the uncertain/low car count, this year is shaping up to be the best in the IRL's history, IMO.

You have some well known and growing stars, a diversified schedule, and a lot of talented drivers.

It's hard not to get excited about this list: Hornish, Castroneves, Wheldon, Kanaan, Franchitti, Andretti, Sharp, Dixon, Scheckter, and Rice. Fill that in with the likes of Meira, Patrick and Fisher, lots of talent, some yet to prove it, but plenty of interesting storylines. Should be another tight championship battle, hard to handicap it at the top.
