Blues has now started to fall and for last 4 games has earned a 1 single point for shootout loss against NSH. I really afraid that this is it once more.. a good season start and then dropping below the playoffs line before them wokes up when there is 10 games to go to fight for the last playoff spot again. Its been kinda the way of Blues many years already.

Mixa, come back and talk to me when they go and lose 8 or 9 in a stretch like the Leafs do.
I think injuries aside, the Blues likely are a playoff team. It just is tough. 16 teams out of 30 make it to the playoffs...."Water for my horses, beer for my men and mud for my turtle".

A wild one too Schmenke. I watched the first period and it was 3-0 and they looked awful. Schenn gets one with 30 seconds left in the first, and I think, ok....that doesn't mean much. I go out for a late dinner with my wife, look at the Blackberry at the end of the second and it is 5-4 for TO? They baffle me...because they show signs at times of being a really good team...and then they play like goofs in other periods. I gave up trying to figure out this team. Lucky for me, I have my OHL fix every week and the Gen's are 11-5-2 and 3rd in the Eastern Conference of the OHL.....and looking pretty decent for a Memorial Cup run. If THEY sucked, it would be one miserable winter....

I can agree with that, although as a Hawks fan anytime the Wings lose I am happy.

Another loss for the Flames. The Leafs are now ahead of them in the overall league standings
Ian White and Brett Sutter for Babchuk and Kostopolus from the 'Canes. Fair trade I guess. Not sure about Kostopolus. As a forward, he can barely manage 20 points a season . Babchuk is a solid defenceman though.
Glad to see Sutter go. One down... now if we could only get rid of the other two“If everything's under control, you're going too slow.” Mario Andretti

Babchuk is solid and will help the Flames PP. Kostopoulos is a 3rd liner. Not sure if they need any more of those.
Darryl's son gets the boot outta Calgary. Ian White will probably be the #4 Dman on the 'Canes (2nd pairing at best) and will fill in on the PP if needed. He is buried at bit offense wise with Joni Pitkanen, Jamie Mcbain, and joe Corvo ahead of him." Lady - I'm in an awful dilemma.
