That's good news with Bouffier, if it gets confirmed. So they are going to sell the beautiful Proton Satria S2000 in Europe after all !
It doesn't make much sense to use an S2000 car in the APRC. Those rallies are on rough gravel and they're much better suited to Lancers and Imprezas rather and a relatively fragile and expensive S2000 car."Nada pode me separar do amor de Deus"

I don't agree. Where the bigger market for Proton is and where it needs more promotion? In Europe or in Asia-Pacific zone?

Yep, Mirek is right. Maybe the Proton is not as fragile as the other S2000's. Also, S2000's have won many gravel rallies and were a lot faster than N4's. Would love to see it fighting with Auris and Fiestas in the APRC round in Australia.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I read the engine basis of the Proton was the Renault Clio 1800ccm
Perhaps Renault secretly prepares an arrival in S2000 like this

Where have You read that? I thought it was new Campro / CPS 1.8 16V as basis for 2.0 engine in S2000, not the old Renault unit used in Protons previously...
