This new Mitsubishi just looks nimble and powerful.
Group N is very promising with the IX, imagine the X!

Our Japanese friend wrote in Rally Hokaido thread that the car actualy weights a hundred kilos more than Evo 9. He was talking about official Nutahara's car tested in Japan.
By the way when I look into homologation, the rollcage seems to be too flimsy to me...Stupid is as stupid does. Forrest Gump

100 kg is the normal cars heavier, but maybe the gr.N ones are not so more.
if you look at homologation you can see plenty of metal pieces they allow to took away.
let s wait to see at the scales the first ones.
in cz any team they work on evo X?

Don't forget that Evo 9 has special lightened bodywork (RS - non homologated for public traffic) which Evo X doesn't have (I think). Also Evo 9 has special suspension parts but Evo 10 uses much more parts from standard passenger Lancer. Evo X is also 40 mm wider and a bit higher with the same lenght and that itself means some kilos more as well.
About Evo X in Cz... I don't know about any team building Evo X for rallying. I know that Milan Liška and Karel Trojan have Evo X in road versions, that's all.Stupid is as stupid does. Forrest Gump

I see that Mirek is a big anti-Evo X (just kidding)
Despite all of that they still say that the Evo X is a lot faster than the Evo IX

You'll be surprised but I love Evo X look, but I don't belive the car is fast until I see the results (also Nutara's Japanese results are not that good). Subaru also claimed how much faster the N14 is than N12 and as we know, it was just a rubbish advertiment...

Neuville rear-left off the rim at the stage end. When comparing splits, lost ~9sec to Evans.
