I hope it comes true, Basso is a super talent.

Autosport this week are reporting that Alister McRae will enter Rally Jordan in April to compare the pace of the Proton to the SWRC boys. Jordan being a key market for Proton.

He will also do full Asia-Pacific and selected IRC. Supposedly 14 rallies this year.

Yes, he will do the italian championship on a Fabia S2000 from Skoda Italia, in the same team of Piero Longhi.
I think is trying to get budget for some IRC rallys

Tommi Mäkinen wants to bring his Tommi Mäkinen Racing Team to WRC in 2011, Mäkinen himself being the team boss.

"Mäkinen feels that regulation changes from 2011 onwards makes it possible for his team to participate at WRC level.

- WRC interests me a lot. It's been a goal for us that we've thought a lot and also discussed a lot."

Mäkinen's interview was published in the latest VM magazine. My copy is at home, I hope, so I can't tell more, but it surely sounds interesting. Mäkinen is involved with GrN Subaru's which would fit PWRC, but his comment on the regulation changes makes me hope for something more.

This is just what I hoped would start happning with the new regs. Privateer teams buying a few cars and being able to run them themselves and fight for top honours. Very good news.
