Strange there’s nothing on MTV3’s web page although Tomi is their “rally expert”.

In last ”Vauhdin maailma” Juho told that he has a two-year offer from Skoda but he’s still trying to get a WRC deal for next year.

R-GT seemed like a totally unsuitable spec for the Exige anyways. A minimum weight 1200kg, when the road-going car is 930. Makes the competition version worse than the stock Exige S.

That was previous generation Exige with 1.8 VVTL-i engine. Recent one with 3.5 supercharged engine has empty weight 1170 kg in stock variant.

Ah, thanks, I didn't know that... though I've looked up the 2012 Exige S, and it seems to have 345hp, which is restricted to 302hp in the R-GT.
So it's still a downgrade from the stock car, albeit by reduced power instead of higher weight.
