The only other possible candidate that I can think of is Brendan Reeves. As an Australian, he'd be used to driving with the gear shift on the left, because we drive cars on the right. But Ford and Citroen only wanted to move the gear shift to the left; they didn't want to reconfigure the Fiesta and DS3 to a right-hand drive layout. And Reeves is doing just fine for himself in a left-hand drive car, so it makes no sense for him to be the person at the centre of the request.

You do realise that:

a) it was filmed at an exhibition event for journalists and not a serious test
b) the car has only just begun testing anyway
c) the car is being driven slowly for the cameras
d) the video is full of theatrical cuts that emphasise style over substance and
e) the driver does not appear to be a professional rally driver

... Right?
