Altenheimer - "always ran grp. 4 " ??

Not Correct.

Altenheimer won the 1975 DE Rallyemeister title in a 2.7L car (1973 RS body looking car - Black / LM X 911) .

He ran group 3 this year (1975).

As far as the 1980 Tour d"europe # 3 car pic. It could very well be Altenheimer , just as likely as anyone else (and by recieving a #3 , we know it is someone well rated . Like a past winner - say like altenheimer.

When I say "Altenheimer - "always ran group 4" I mean the Porsches from G-model series, like the photo from 1980 Tour d"europe - car # 3
Sorry for my omission. (Porsche Carrera RS, rally version with 2.7 l engine was homologated in the group 3, of course)
