impreza rally question .

what is the main difference between the american subaru impreza rally car and the japanese one ?
i heard that a lot of subaru cars are a japanese based cars .

I think the root of your question is why would American teams start with a Japanese subaru for their rally cars.
If so, the obvious answer is that the WRX and STi come with 2.5l motos and the Spec C is not imported into the US. The Japanese market Spec C comes with a variety of desirable parts as well as a usable engine...
