Ohh, an option that would please me. Francois Duval can be quoted as saying: "My next event is Spain, but if I was asked to stand in for Gigi on Rally New Zealand then I would be very happy to.”

Buzz, why do you think Gigi will not rally again?

Its not that he will not be fit from leg operation, but just feel he is a spent force now. He has not the drive to deliver at the very highest level. I think the accident will have scared him also, I think very similar to Beef's accident, just slightly different position on car.

We will wait to see if he is a "spent force" but the second half of your argument is rubbish. I snapped the end off my ulna last year in a sporting accident and two operations later and i'm competing better than i ever did. Gigi will be back.

Duval said after the rally: "My next event is Spain, but if I was asked to stand in for Gigi on Rally New Zealand then I would be very happy to.”

so, this is different to what was posted on these forums earlier today,

The question is if the team still wants Galli back for next season.

Scare Gigi ? that's impossible ! As for being a spent force... go and read Gigi's stages-times in Finland, before he went off.

He actually did better stage times in Sardinia, Greece and Turkey.
I am a big fan of Andy Aigner
