    Question !

When I've read specifications of WRC rally car , I found this :

" The maximum car width allowed is 1770 mm "

but most of rally car have a width between 1770mm and 1900mm ??

    could you explain that ??

If I remember it right the max width for a car which length is 4,20 m or under is 1770 mm and for cars over 4,20 m the max width is 1800 mm. This rule was made specially for Ford when they introduced the new Focus which width is 1840 mm.
