Group B or a load of bull?
Did the FIA kill Group B, because it was to dangerous or because it was taking the spotlight from formulas (1) of racing? Is this what is happening with todays Group A cars?

Part of the reason I guess, but defenitly not the only one. John Davenport's explanation on it in "Rise and Fall of Group B" is pretty clear in my opinion.
With Group A, if you mean "World Rally Cars", than it's defenitly not the same case. Their ditching this class, mainly because of it's high costs. Plus Group B was very populair, while the current WRC is not in such high demand. But there's been a thread(s) about this before not a long while ago, so I recommend to look that up.
