It was an exciting weekend at brands, with 2 different race winners and very close finishes in all three races. Sadly, the BTCC circus was without Alfa driver Jon Brown this round having suffered an injury to his hand..
RACE1
Returning Team EGG driver nips Peter Vuko at the checker by 8/10ths of a second under sunny conditions. Less than 2 seconds in arrears was Team EGG driver Tannat, followed by the factory Vauxhall of Chris Finch, BM in the MG, with racer69 rounding out the field...

Even closer race between Chris Finch and BM, with again the Vauxhall driver nipping it at the line by a narrow 19/100ths of a second, followed by racer69 in 6th.

Dammit, I was only a few seconds away from beating Chris each time! Hopefully I'll make up the deficit at my home track next time!!!

What a few races for me-Fourth is probably my best finshes of the season, and I always fancied to go quite well here. It's probably the track I've done the most, and its shortest.
I told you I was gunning for your fourth place BM.Chris Finch-now available in high definition

Re BTCC
That was not a bad result. Well done Luffield on your two victories - it's a shame you did not contest more Rds this year - it would have been a close contest! My win in the wet pleased me - I'm starting to drive well in the rain in this game! Shame about J.B & his finger!

I was REALLY hoping for a win here, but just couldn't get the V'hall in the low 38's. Think I prefer the Alfa, but I may have just used a crappy setup.
I've already hit bthe track at Knockhill. Very close round earlier this season..
Luffield-you've really come a long way with this game since the Christmas Enduro back in 2005 (remember?).....9-23-2006 Cadey-Lee Deacon,The Rocket Pub, New Parks, Leicester: Little one, through some miracle of reincarnation may you be given a second chance at a full life.
