Grat news. The #009 Aston Martins are leading the GT1 class with the Corvettes second. Down by about several laps it looks like so no chance of being outright winner probably but very good all the same.

Just out of interest their is P1 and P2 and GT1 and GT2. What is the main difference between each. The difference between P1 and P2 and of GT1 and GT2. I know you have cars like the Lolas in the "P" (Prototype??) and the Saleens, Ferraris and Porches in the Grand Tourers. But is their any great technical or phycical difference between each Prototype car and each Grand Tourer?

Shame about Vitaphone Racing. The only GT1 car out of Le Mans.

GT1 cars are basically allowed more modifications and therefore greater perofrmance over GT2s- I can't find an easy explanation of the regs at the moment

I know I should congratulate Audi - but I can't.

Maybe Peugeot should just really concentrate on Le Mans and use the ALMS/LMS races as test sessions.

Well done Audi, the Peugeots were fast but too thirsty and that cost them, also the Audi drivers were way better in the wet!

the Reliability was excellent between Audi and Peugeot. The RS Spyders going 1-2 in LMP2 is excellent. Aston Martin with the Gulf livery winning is pretty sweet, although I'd prefer if Corvette won

Well done to Audi and especially Mr Le Mans AKA Tom Kristensenn.

The pace of the Peugeots is near equal if they adjust their strategy to be more conservative. Third time lucky perhaps?!
