Yeah. I should have turned to the other cheek. But quite frankly after the **** IRL fans have had to endure for the last ten years I wasn't in the mood for it.
Jeeze, DTD you sound like the old Japanese men they found in caves years after the war was over. Do you really think the IRL fans are the ONLY victims in the abuse game? If so you didn't frequent many Champ Car or CART forums, did you?

This will be quite entertaining if Ed sinks like a rock after the roadies.

I say this with a smile on my face, so don't get me wrong. I know Ed is not a road course specialist. I know he won't do as well at the RC as he does on the ovals. And I know if he stumbles you guys will let me know. I get it. But I still think when it all shakes out at the end of the year he'll have done better than most would have given him credit for. That's all I'm saying.

You know what the problem is w/some of the guys that post here? They can dish it out but they can't take it.

Out of all the races that are left on the schedule, which do you think Ed has the best chance for a victory?

Definitly Chicago and Kentucky are probably his best chances, but I would say that a place like Richmond is where he could pull of a miracle, esp. if the race is full of accidents and he happens to avoid them.

    What do you think?

So it's actually a lot tighter than the already tight European point system.
Of course the CART system is nearly the same except it doesn't give points for very low positions.
And what incentive does that give the other 20 cars? The euro system may reward winning, but it doesn't recognize consistency and it doesn't punish mistakes. The euro system also promotes the win or wreck mentality that gets people hurt.

Maybe a tough assignment for Downtowndeco? He'd be at a loss for words without the conflict. Regardless how authentic the criticism was of Ed Carpenter or Danica Patrick.
